Amanda Fillebrown lives and writes in Southern Indiana. She holds a Master of Arts in Writing from Spalding University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Indiana University Southeast. She enjoys life with her husband, Andy, and their cat, Presto. She is passionate about faith, family, and serving her community.
Amanda has been married and widowed twice before her current husband. God has used her relationships and those losses to teach her many things that have shaped her views of life, relationships, and God. She lives each day as a gift that should be celebrated and lived to the fullest. She knows first hand that God is able to do immeasurably more than all we can ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20) and is amazed and humbled by the things that she has seen him do in her life.
Her first book was released in February 2023. Glimmers of God Through Seasons of Grief explores her own grief journey after losing two spouses before the age of 40. She shares how God’s presence and compassion guided her through the darkness as well as practical insights and actions to help readers cope with their own grief. Purchase Glimmers of God here.
