Amanda Fillebrown lives in Indiana right outside of Louisville, Kentucky with her husband, Andy, and their cat, Presto. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Indiana University Southeast and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Writing from Spalding University. She is passionate about her faith, family and serving her community.
Amanda has been married twice before and was widowed both times. God has used her relationships and her losses to teach her many things that have shaped her views of life, relationships, and God. She knows that each day we are given is a gift that should be celebrated and lived to the fullest. She knows first hand that God is able to do immeasurably more than all we can ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20) and is amazed and humbled by the things that she has seen him do in her life.
Her first book was released in February 2023. Glimmers of God Through Seasons of Grief explores her own grief after losing two spouses before the age of 40 and the ways that God’s presence and compassion guided her through the darkness. She shares practical insights and actions to help readers cope with their own grief by reframing the thoughts and emotions that can overwhelm the grieving heart. Glimmers of God can be purchased here.
